This is a hands on position with the following
Responsibilities:
Assist with month-end close, account reconciliations and various reports.
Assist in General Ledger entries and balance sheet management.
Review the month-end trial balance for correctness and accuracy.
Capital assets reconciliations.
Assist in monitoring and analyzing accounting data and producing financial reports or statements.
Assist in coordinating and completing annual audits with Controller.
Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
Meet financial accounting objectives.
Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of success in progressive general ledger accounting roles, including:
Advanced computer skills on MS Office, especially MS Excel, accounting software (ERP) and databases.
Ability to manipulate large amounts of data.
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principes (GAAP), standards, laws, and regulations.
High attention to procedures and to detail and accuracy.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
