Quick Apply Full-time 1 day ago Full Job Description The Human Resources / Payroll Manager is charged with providing leadership and coordinating company human resources and bi-weekly payroll activities.
This individual will develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy, including bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues, managing the recruitment and hiring process and managing activities such as job design, performance management, training & development and talent management and employee benefits.
Additionally, the position requires the processing of the Company's bi-weekly payroll, including collection of hourly employee times, PTO usage, 401K administration and other company defined benefits.
The HR / Payroll Manager is the go-to person for all employee-related issues.
This is a hands-on position with the following
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues Manage the recruitment and selection process Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization Nurture a positive working environment Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance Maintain pay plan and benefits program Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
Identifies and recommends updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures.
